Inttranet Linguists of the Year Award for 2010

The members of the Inttranet™, the global network of professional interpreters and translators, have nominated Cornelia Brown as their "Linguist of the Year" for 2010. The honorary Inttranet Linguists of the Year Awards recognise the struggle - and sometimes the personal sacrifice - of linguists both alive and dead who have been the focus for media attention during the past year, and have increased public awareness of the importance of linguists and languages as a result.
